Go deeper

Pray for an increase of your hunger! God gave me revelation today as Jordan and I were reading a book on the roots of plants being the food finders. The roots go to where the water is for survival. Some plants have to grow really far down to get water deep in the earth while others spread out to get water because the rain only goes a few inches deep.

Will you search Me out? Will you seek me? Will you seek new revelations and vision? Will you draw close to me? I have many things for you but you have to search me out. You will find me in the places you least expect me, if you look for me. Don’t dry up. Don’t let your oil go out at night. Continue to search me out. You can only store up revelation for a short amount of time before your spirit needs more. Don’t be satisfied until you find me. Don’t be satisfied with less than what I have for you. Find your contentment in Me. I am so much more than what you think. I have so much more to offer you, so much more to give you and so much more to show you. Come to me so you might never thirst again. I have the living water that can quench your thirst. It is the water that will satisfy you. I will give you truth, and you won’t have to worry if anyone else has more truth than you. Believe me, I am the truth. Wash yourselves in the word. Come to me in faith and wash yourselves. Wash yourselves daily. Come to the well daily.

2 Philippians says “as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Do everything without complaining or arguing so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life”.

How important is it that we radically obey what he has commanded us to do? We should work out our salvation with fear and trembling, and go to the living water to do so. We have to wash and refresh ourselves in the word to work out our salvation. We have to be thirsty. We have to be thirsty for the water of the word and nothing else. There are too many polluted wells in the Nation. The people keep going back to them trying to quench their thirst and yet they find nothing. Instead, it makes them sick, and they are not made well. We as the body of Christ have to purify ourselves so we can pour out fresh undefiled pure water for those who are dying. We cannot accept anything less than the truth. We have to hold fast to it, and not let anything get in our way.
America is very rich. So rich that many believe they don’t need God. They are drinking from a polluted well. Water has the power to destroy as well as to create. The devil has tried to cut off the pure water source. He has shown people that they can establish their lives in polluted wells. He’s convinced them that they don’t need to drink the true living water. He is a liar, and he must be defeated. We have to dig deeper and reopen wells. We have to protect them and not let the devil cut off our supply. We have to pray for more faith and more thirst. If we don’t, we will die. We cannot compromise our beliefs. We must stand strong. We have to filter what comes into our lives and filter what goes out. Remember, fresh water and salt water can not flow from the same spring. We must stand on the word of God and not believe anything else!
