Holy Spirit Power

Jesus depended on Holy Spirit, He gave instructions to His apostles through Holy spirit. He relied on Holy Spirit for the power for His miracles and for His teaching; He did nothing apart from Holy Spirit. Jesus is our pattern for total dependence upon Holy Spirit. Church we must depend on Holy Spirit just as Jesus did.
Jesus not only moved in the power of Holy Spirit throughout His ministry, He also promised that His disciples would receive the same Holy Spirit that empowered and inspired Him. In John 7: 37-39, we read:
On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If a man is thristy, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. (NIV)
Through the incoming and indwelling of Holy Spirit, we who were thirsty now become a channel for "streams of living water." We no longer are in need but are a source of power through Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is to be a limitless resource. Everything that the lost and broken need we have living in us. All the power we look for is found in Holy Spirit.
