"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines on everything in the house. Thus let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and they may glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
Let 's pray for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit over us, so that we may be like Jesus in all we say and do, loving as He loves, and shining as a light in the world, so that men may see what we do and glorify the Father.

Amen to that Jon. I want the world to see Jesus when they look at me. Father cause us to love as you love. If we behold Him we will become like Him. Show us even more of who you are.
Excellent. From the side of the north let the beauty of the Lord shine -perfect in beauty. He has made us children of light and we cast off the deeds of darkness. Make us shining ones - like brilliant stars in a dark world.
